Used satellite bolide records to set what is now the standard estimate of Earth’s impact rate.

Brown, P.G. et al. 2013 — A 500-kiloton airburst over Chelyabinsk and an enhanced hazard from small impactors. Nature 503, 238.

The cover paper on the largest airburst since Tunguska; reshaped impact-risk estimates worldwide.

Brown, P. et al. 2000 — The fall, recovery, orbit and composition of the Tagish Lake meteorite. Science 290, 320.

Reported a new type of carbonaceous chondrite — a sample of the outer solar system with a known orbit.
